October 13th

Bad me - I missed several important days.  I apologize to Thursday's National Depression Screening Day, Friday's World Post Day, Saturday's National Cake Decorating Day, Sunday's National Coming Out Day, and Monday's Free Thought Day.  All good reasons to celebrate and make ourselves more aware, for sure.

It's just that - I was busy.  Busy eating.

What, you may be asking, were you eating that could possibly have been more important than exploring World Post Day?

Crab.

Dungeness Crab, to be specific.

And steamed clams.

And scallops wrapped in bacon, more clams, oysters, crab and cheese dip, clam chowder, corn on the cob, and even more crab.

But, hey, that's not all I was doing.  No, I'm certainly not that shallow.  How could you think that?

I was also drinking lots and lots of wine.

Ah, it was a glorious weekend.

Now, let's all ponder that it's National Face Your Fears Day.  Obviously, if I was ever afraid of eating too much seafood, I've now been cured.  However, there are still spiders . . .
